Terms of Service

Please read this agreement carefully. By creating an account or using MCEdit Skin Studio (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use This Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless a separate written agreement permits commercial use.

This Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft Corporation. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account or allow others to access it. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload images of minors.
Upload images of any person without their consent.
Generate skins that impersonate real individuals for deceptive purposes.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service.
Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures.
Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

4. Your Content and Privacy

Photos you upload for processing are handled entirely in your browser. The original photo never reaches our servers. When you choose to save a skin, the generated skin PNG is transmitted and stored on our servers under your account. You retain ownership of your uploaded images and generated skins.

You grant us a limited license to store and serve your saved skins to you through the Service. We do not use your images to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, its code, design, and brand are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them. Skin files you generate are yours, subject to Mojang's own terms for use within Minecraft.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that generated skins will function with all versions of Minecraft.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dannny0117 and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or loss of profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have paid nothing).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dannny0117 and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to a class action or jury trial. Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the applicable jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.
